one of the japanese english teachers gave me 2 canned airs for my bday. i suppose they're kinda jokey-only-in-japan gifts but they're pretty awesome. he got me two flavors: SHIAWASEKAN and NAGOMIKAN, i guess they're rose-lavendar and forest, respectively. pics to follow! thanks, mr. nakae!

the other night one of my ex-private students called me up in the middle of the night, totally smashed, and invited me to a picnic. his english was pretty good, though.

I don't particularly care if Pluto is a "planet" or not.
