I had EIGHT teeth pulled, including FOUR impacted molars, back when I got braces as a teen. They had me so looped up on happy drugs that I had no idea what was going on during the surgery; and lots of meds, after. I won't lie and say it wasn't painful, because it was-but not as painful as my fear made it, beforehand.

You'll be happy once you've done it and it's OVER, because you won't have to worry about it any more. *hugs*

Oh, ugh. I know I'm blowing this out of proportion but I think it's become habit. I've known for forever that I have to have this done... but... well... teeth. Meep.

I keep telling myself it will be wonderful to talk, chew, & drink w/o the broken wisdom tooth ripping up my cheek & tongue.

Honestly, I can't remember what they said. I was so focused on the 'surgery' part. *laughs* I'm terrible!

The hubby has taken the day off to baby me and I've made him promise to take SPN for me. CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT BOYS!

I made sure to take several days off of work to recuperate & I'm hoping that by Monday I'll be less painful & fully awake.

;D That's okay. It can be scary! I understand! Most people I know who have had their wisdom teeth extracted have had the twilight stuff used, so I hope it won't be so bad for you.

That's smart of you and your hubby. *hugs again*

I do remember, now that you mentioned it! That actually puts my mind at ease. I can be so sadly easy at times. *laughs*

*hugs you back*

I know I'm being a big baby about the whole thing, especially as I've already been through worse. How bad could this really be. Right? *chews lip*

Thank you! I couldn't decide what layout I liked and just went randomly searching for images. I used to have a poster of this on my dorm wall.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed they had to cut into my jaw to get the teeth out(I had to get all four removed), but the good news is that they hooked me up with about a months worth of percodans so I wasn't feeling any pain lol

GOOD DRUGS ARE GOOD!

Yeah, there will be jaw cutting. However, I only have to have 3 out. Apparently one of the top ones magically disappeared. When I saw the x-rays years & years ago it was there, but in this round it has vanished. I'm hoping that means less pain for me!
