[October 14] Finally In Pewter!

FINALLY GOT OUT OF VIRIDIAN FOREST!

Everyone was telling me how to beware of Weedles and Poison Sting, beware of Caterpie and String Shot, but no one warned me about the most dangerous thing - HOW NOT TO GET LOST! Got no idea how everyone else made their way out of the forest. I seriously thought I was going to spend the rest of my life in there!

It was, I swear! It had these weird scratches all over it, maybe some Pokemon was sharpening its claws on the trunk or something.

They make maps, Kirihara-kun. I highly advise you invest in one for the next place you have to trek through.

Professor Yanagi would say that, wouldn't he?. He said Pidgeys wouldn't sit on my head because I was too cold and that was just fine by me.

Well, Professor Yamato just gave me a map app so I should be good for the next forest although I think I'll be taking the free transportation back to Viridian instead of doing Viridian Forest again.

Right? It'd be really annoying to have a Pidgey nesting on your head all day!

That's very kind of him. Free transportation is always a good choice.

When my Swellow was a Taillow, she sat on my shoulder. That was a much better choice than my head.

You are kind of blunt, like he said. That aside, I'm sure I'll run into you here and there - I will be fighting the Kanto gym leaders at a higher level to get the eight badges I do not possess.

Having a Pokemon that knows Fly is even better, I'm really jealous of all of you who can come and go as you want.

Yeah, that's waaaaay better! Definitely going to train my bird Pokemon to do that if I catch any.

I'm sure they're nice Pokemon, but that doesn't change the fact that I'll pass on them nesting in my hair.

Because, despite being lost and irritated and confused and hurt, you managed to see a positive side to your experience and you're still going forward. That's not a very common human characteristic. And you're reactions are so amusing - I don't get to laugh much in my day.

Of course I'm still charging forward! As if getting lost for days, tackled repeatedly, and falling off trees could set me back! I'm glad my suffering experience makes you laugh, professor. Your life sounds really harsh, you don't laugh much or sleep very much either.

Great! Charmander says hi! He never backs down from a fight and he's even more reckless like me so we make an awesome team~

Errr ... he does tend to chase anything that moves in hopes of battling it even though I've told him many times that I don't need anymore Weedles. But it's training so I can't complain too much!
