I've taken some pretty neat pictures out an airplane window but this has those beat ALL to hell. A passenger aboard a Delta flight bound for Palm Beach on Monday morning caught Endeavour on its way to orbit out her window. Some people have all the luck!

The Lightning took their semi-final series against the Capitals 4-0. Sweeeeet! A big zzzzzzrrrbrrp to the naysayers on ESPN and Versus. Next up the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston or Philadelphia.

Wild things
I took myself to DisneyWorld a couple weeks ago to see Juice Newton in concert at EPCOT. While I was waiting for the concert I went over to Animal Kingdom for lunch and a safari. Finally heard directly from my youngest sister, who lives in Alabama, for the first time since Wednesday afternoon. The family is fine. The house not so much-losing most of its shingles and a part of the roof peak. They have no power, no cell signal and no internet. I just bought myself an Amazon Kindle for Christmas. I blame anothersuperboy. He blames me for the Disney pins, I blame him for this. Seems fair...

Way out of Africa
This year Busch Gardens is giving away a free safari on your birthday. I took them up on the offer this afternoon. Safe to say it's probably the closest I'll ever get to Africa. Interacting with the giraffe was very cool and definitely a new experience for me ( Read more... ) -
