What: Kurogane and Chii traveling together. Awkward cuteness, protective Kuro-huff, and probably a fight since this is the West and Kurogane all.

Yuui suggested it, Chi fought it, and now she was out on the open road with Kurogane. It was good to be out and traveling again, even if she knew she would miss the bar and her brother and working. Still, it was good, like a mini vacation. Perhaps Chi could convince Yuui that she could run the bar on her own one of these days so he could go out on a little vacation as well. He deserved one since he hadn't been away from that place except to go to bed ( ... )

"..." Well that was it, so Kurogane turned back in his saddle. He got that Chi talked and he would talk, just not as much as she seemed like she wanted him to. At least he assumed she would want more talking, knowing her brothers. Yuui talked to a cat and Fay just talked. Incessantly at times. Of course he was worried Chi would turn out like one of them.

He sighed and watched Caballo's ears fly up and down. The horse was unsure about the new horse who kept prancing around like he wanted something. Caballo wasn't sure what seeing as how, besides Peanut, every horse they ever rode with only stuck around for a few days or weeks at the most. Friendly horses were odd creatures... Even if Peanut was friendly and odd to him at first too.

The little horse was calming now, because a town was approaching. It knew how to act in towns. Chi was silent a long while before turning to Kurogane again. "What are you really here finding?"

Kurogane kept his eyes on the town, "I'm going to get my guns back and this drunk'll help tell me where to go for them." If he knew what was good for him. Not his favorite informant but the guy said he'd find out what ghost town to look in next time they met. "Just ten minutes after I find him, then we'll go." Unless Chi had her own business to do while they were in a town, in which case she better speak now.
