They're losing 4 of the 6 most experienced people. And another who hasn't been around as long, but has been in all of the areas. They're kinda toast. And I'm not going to point and laugh at all. Where they can see me.

I was figuring on the translation, based on your earlier text. I just didn't have a chance to get back to you earlier 'cause I was doing the eep, do I stay or do I go thing. Yay gathering! I've been practicing my guitar.

I actually have a radio, or at least a CD player that gets radio reception. So as long as the baseball game is carried on a station we can get, I should be able to tune into it for you. The TV also came with a stereo-speaker system that theoretically could get radio - it came as a package and I think I've used it once, so no guarantee that I could make it do anything :D

April 2 works for me. :)

Also, I might phone you tomorrow about SDCC hotels, though might just discuss in game. I'm planning on ranking the hotels, and need to know what we think is important. I'm all about distance and price. :)

Ranking works. And once we figure out hotels, must also look at flights. SO much to organize.

wow - big changes on the job front, but many congrats on the change. it sounds like it's time to leave your current position, and hopefully you'll enjoy the challenges (I already know you'll do well)

There were only so many times I could put up with them saying 'work harder. Oh, you need X to work harder - we'll give you Y. Everyone else says Y works for them' and then having them upset when we demonstrate, again, why Y doesn't work for us. Not certain yet what sort of challenges the new job will have, but we shall see.

Hopefully! I'll share an office and actually be allowed to have tea at my desk. And a window. For those things alone, I was awfully tempted to switch.
