From all the pictures I'm not convinced that God gave much thought to the concept of shaving. If he had, surely he'd have arranged things so that you didn't need to...
Have you ever seen a picture of Him wearing a swimming costume or shorts, let alone a short skirt? I think that explains it. His hairy knees are always well covered...
(I can honestly say that I have never even thought of shaving my knees, until this thread...)
Darwin said "I cannot persuade myself that a beneficent and omnipotent God would have designedly created the Ichneumonidae [parasitic wasps] with the express intention of their feeding within the living bodies of Caterpillars".
Creationism is the belief that all life was created essentially as we know it by the Christian God, who is wise and good and loving and so on. Intelligent Design is the belief that all life was created essentially as we know it by some carefully unspecified immensely powerful being. Unintelligent Design is the belief that all life was created essentially as we know it by some carefully unspecified immensely powerful being who, frankly, wasn't that good at it. Which might be more plausible, but does rather rule out "and it might have been God who is omniscient and omnipotent".
