Well, it finally happened. I got to go to Comic-Con, Southern California's annual gathering of geekdom. But what's even better, is that I got to go there on the company dime. So that made the trip even sweeter ( Read more... )

Nah, I totally forgot to take my camera. But yeah, there were times I thought the inestimable concentration of geeks (myself included) would create some sort of geek singularity and destroy the universe.

were you able to pick up anything cool for your ds at the nintendo booth? did they have the pikachu beetle there this year? glad to hear you had a great time.

Nintendo had a huge booth demonstrating a lot of new and upcoming DS titles, but didn't really have any giveaways.

No Pikachu beetle, but I did walk through a 15-foot-tall snake full of Snakes on a Plane memorabilia.
