OK, so I think I'm officially a Jonathan Coulton groupie now. I went to his concert in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday night and then saw him again in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday night. Both shows were great! The Majestic Theatre in Madison and the Lakeshore Theatre in Chicago are both small, < 300-seat venues, so that was cool, and the crowds in ( Read more... )

I've gotten really hooked on his songs lately. I'm really kicking myself for missing the Atlanta show.

So was one of the shows on May 1st? and if so did he sing "First of May"?

Yeah, his concerts are so much fun! There's just such a great sense of geek camaraderie among the performers and the audience. He seems to be touring pretty heavily now, so I expect it won't be that long until he hits Atlanta again.

Uh the animation is going..slowly. I was expecting an extra set of hands on the project, but they didn't end up doing any work at all. So now I'm just trying to rush to get it done. I'm sure once I finish it for this show I'm going to want to go back and give it some polish.

I still really want your opinion on it, but it might be more in the way of "what can I fix for the next showing of it?" >_
