We had a rude awakening on Thursday morning at 3am, when we got a call saying my grandmother had been rushed to hospital in Peterborough. She is 88 and her health as some of you know has been a bit of a roller coaster the past couple of years. I am glad the by-elctions are over, I am thrilled Martha Hall-Findlay Won in my Riding of Willowdale, I have been VERY impressed by her since I first met her a few years ago and she will do a great job in Willowdale. Bob Rae won as well in downtown Toronto, and it looks like the Liberals will win in Vancouver as well.
