Well, it’s over. We all feared this would happen, and now here we are. Another four years of lies and deception. So, kids. Where do we go from here ( Read more... )

Dare I say, Fuck Ohio. And start working out, you're gonna be drafted in the next few years so you better prepare yourself in advance.

That is my political rant

Yeah. I'm ashamed to say that I live in a state which shares a border with Ohio. We should really declare a state on state war with Indiana. That would teach those bastards in Ohio a lesson.

I guess if the draft comes back that'll make the Canada decesion pretty easy. Though, I'm probably not allowed to say that. Yay for the Patroit Act.

I'm not favoring the ban on gay marriage. I voted against it, but I would like to state homosexuality is not a thing that is simply in our time. way back in the roman empire tons of people were gay, and it was accepted legally in some places. I think it has something to do with undulation, this ban on gay marriage could very well be the straw that breaks the camels back and start a giant movement for the gay community and people could start moving towards supporting gay people in the future even moreso than if the gay marriage ban wasn't passed. It sure makes me feel bad for them. I think that the more the country moves to the right, the more people will want to move to the left. and maybe in a few decades people will want to move back right.

There should NOT BE GAY MARRIAGE. ickines aside think about the effects. All of the sudden this whole gay thing becomes acceptable to point where it's no longer frowned upon, shit I can all ready see the sitcoms, "2 Fags, a Gimp and a Pizza Place." Hey you remember 1950? Sex could only be done with marriage and before the age of...oh I don't know, probably a point a point in which you didn't have acne and had actualy gone through puberty. All of the sudden things go wrong. The media is packed with smut and has the American youth hornier then rabbits on viagra durring mating season. Sex before marriage in your teens? Maybe it's just me but considering the abundant orphans oday due largerly to the fact that people sexing are so young they don't even bother with condoms, seems a little sad. Now then, what if this happened with the gays, another drop in good beliefs, hell if it feels good do it! What if married fags want to adopt? Shit they can marry they should have be able to adopt too write? Hell no one likes discrimintaion they'll ( ... )

Alright, alright. Things did not go the way most of us wanted, it is disappointing. Disappointment is a fact of life. It is still just politics, an imperfect (human) system devised from idealistic principles (not reality) which have the best of intentions, but are still based on imaginary lines on a map.

To say that president Bush is wrong is ignorant. Right and wrong are pretend values- nobody claims to be on the side of wrong. Do you really understand Bush's position? I don't so I've abstained myself from judgment. However, I do know that Bush is starting a war which leads to death of the innocent- this I do not approve of.

Gay Marriage
I remember another group of people who were voted against. We called them the pilgrims. They left their own country (think about it, would you leave your country and everything you knew?) to found a state free of persecution. This idea was then cemented with the agnostic founding fathers ( ... )

This has nothing to do with the bible. I just don't think gay marriage should be allowed, I know it would be a great exercise in the whole America is free thing but I don't think this is a godd idea considering the possible things that could go wrong.

1) Reply in the right spot.
2) Refrain from using the word fag.
3) Thus far you have pointed out ZERO problems which will arise from gay marriage. Let me see if I can make sense of your arguement.

Heterosexual teeens have sex too early (which they clearly did not in the 1950's. Just look at Leave it to Beaver!) and there are too many kids. So, becasue heterosexual people are producing too many babies, homosexuals should not be allowed to get married. Also, they shouldn't be allowed to adopt (I don't really have the facts on this but since when is it illegal for a gay couple to adopt?) even though the heterosexual teenagers are creating way too many orphans.

Seriously. What the fuck are you trying to say?

-This has nothing to do with the bible.
The bible is the only doctrine to condemn homosexuality that has had a significance on you or I.

-I just don't think gay marriage should be allowed
I do not mean to attack your character as opposed to attcking your argument, but do you know enough about marriage to say this?

-I know it would be a great exercise in the whole America is free thing
The 'who America is free thing' is the core and solitary value that makes our lives different than those who live in a Tyrannical country. You can not pick and choose with personal freedoms.

-I don't think this is a godd idea considering the possible things that could go wrong.
There is nothing that 'could go wrong'. No one is being harmed by the union of two people. Let me repeat this, gay people aren't hurting anybody. They are not imposing values on other people. Homophobia is your value, you are trying to impose it on someone else.
