i voted republican on some of the guys after i picked democratic straight ticket.

and actually the ballot did not say anywhere anything about banning gay marriage. it was to determine whether voters would approve Lansing's proposed amendement of the state constitution to define it as between man and woman

the actual ban on gay marriage will come whether or not the correct number of states approve the constitutional amendment, which may or may not pass from what i hear of how many states voted for it.
