Well, it’s over. We all feared this would happen, and now here we are. Another four years of lies and deception. So, kids. Where do we go from here

and even if it were to pass, if the surpreme court justices knew their asses from richmond, they would strike down the ban as unconstitutional, because it really is.
That could have easily been one comment. I really don't like you but thanks for making it look like more people care about what I have to say. And yes, I know that the odds of a ban on gay marriage ever making it all the way through the entire system are very, very, slim but I still think it's dumb that a) it was ever on the ballot in the first place and b)people actually voted in favor of it. Also, does picking Republican people after picking the straight democrat option mess up your ballot?
but this makes it easier to read plus it raises the count. and i wished they did ban gay marriage its not natural to have homosexual love, yet i voted no for it. and even though you didnt ask chances are you will so i did vote yes on 1.
and im not sure about that last part. now that i remember more, i think i did vote straight ticket for the democrats, like state level people, and stuff like UofM shit and judges and all that i voted randomly. some of them were choices of between republican and green so i picked the lesser of two evils. and worst of all. i was forced to vote for judge MARTONE. ick ick ick
i dont know most of you guys so i cant honestly tell if youre joking, but good god i hope some of you are. why cant you just recognize people just as being human, who deserve basic human rights, no matter what or who they are? why does it matter to you what someone does in the privacy of their own home? if you really care about the personal lives of millions of people you dont even know, then i truly feel sorry for you.
and as for adoption, the only criteria for that should be a persons or couples ability to provide a supportive and loving home. would you rather have an abusive or negligent heterosexual couple raising a child than a supportive and loving gay couple?

Well, I don't think gay marriage is the devil, nor do I believe the government should trying to define marriage, but I do tend to disagree with the statement "why does it matter to you what someone does in the privacy of their own home?", but only when what they are doing is raping little children and/or beating them (of course, they can do that in the privacy of their church...but another topid altogether)...so, it's a fine line you walk when you say a person's life should be completely private. It's when they are hurting other human life that their actions should become an issue.
HOWEVER...nothing about Gay Marriage physically hurts anyone or scars them for life. Even the people who thing "ugh" when they see a gay couple together is not physical or mind-scarring damage, and therefore, their privacy should be their own.
Speaking of privacy (but on another hot political topic), this Open Letter from McSweeney's made me giggle like a little girl: http://
