That is some serious cash and punishment. You should find a way to lessen the blow and appeal the damages. Hell, seek some legal advice or something. You may not save much of the money going that route, but you'll probably get the 3 years of probation taken off.

You're not going to just accept these penalties are you?

I might. We already plead guilty. Another hearing would suck, and i don't think I have the enrgy to deal with it.

The probation is no big deal, really; it's informal probation, so we just have to stay out of trouble (probably, anyways). as far as the money goes, i dunno. It'll take me three years to pay it off, but oh well.

Unless you happen to know a good lawyer... :)
