i feel like an old woman because i sit at the table with blue toes and marvel at the fact that i just spent a few hours shopping at the kitchen table [these new-fangled contraptions].

soporific christmas; warm rooms dizzy with fiber optics. i peeled round, perfect oranges and pulled orange flesh buried beneath my fingernails all day. my mother and father presented me with a nikkor 70-300mm zoom lens and later i laid on my bed in the peach room, photographing lace and soaps from a distance.
