I know nothing of Dr. Who, but every time I see the words Captain Jack I get tingly all over.

I thought you should know that.

Oh, you should get a hold of Emma. She's been stalking John for a couple of months now, so she's your best bet for info.

(Heh. Didn't mean to click post comment before.)

John Barrowman confirmed on BBC News that he won't be in S2, but he'll be back for S3. It is disappointing as I've really come to like Captain Jack, and John Barrowman is absolutely lovely, but he says other commitments got in the way. Still, we've got S3 to look forward to I guess.

Thanks for the update! Yes, it is sad. I had thought he might return for the last part of Season 2, because Season 3 is a loooooooong time away, and I really do like Captain Jack a lot.

Oh well, at least Rose will be back for the full season. I'm going to miss Christopher Eccleston more than words can say, but I'm more than willing to give David Tennant a fair chance.

I am so envious of your Doctor Who watching. In the US it hasn't been shown and there is no release date for the dvds. I am buying a pal player just so when the complete set comes out I can watch it. Rotten US tv!

Normally, I wouldn't gush so as to increase your envy, but you really must find a way to get your hands on the series as soon as you can. It was wonderfully written and acted, and just a delight to watch. I loved, loved, loved it!

Not that I would ever think of such a thing, either! Sadly I live with a very moral person who doesn't like doing such things and thus I haven't yet gone beyond thinking...
