Malagueña salerosa isn't literally "gipsy woman", it's kind of a name that was created...
Malagueña is the name for (female, because of the final "a") inhabitants of Málaga, Spain. It referes to a woman from Malaga and, specifically, a gypsy woman from Málaga because it has a big gypsy presence and culture
Salerosa is also a term, and means something like "graceful".
it comes from "sal" (salt. there's a spanish phrase "es la sal de la vida"..."it's the salt of life"...which means it's something that makes life interesting. :)

:) I'd like to know spanish, too, but I never had the chance really. Maybe if i have the chance i'll take a course at the University..but that won't start until october..if I'm lucky. -_-
But i really like the song as well. As i like Kill Bill :D Vol.2. Is more spanish...vol.1 is more japanese. Wich is both cool hehe. And Uma is so beautiful, and the dialogues...And the way Elle Driver says "That's right. I killed your master. And now I'm gonna kill you, with your own sword, no less, which in the very immediate future, will become... MY sword." The way she says that is so cruel it's fantastic. *schwärm*
Well anyway, what i wanted to say was: glad you like the song. Sadly it's the only spanish one...i mean..the only one where they actually sing...
