Macbook
My new Macbook's screen hinge creaks and squeaks when the thing warms up and it's god damn annoying. Apple said it's a 'cosmetic' fault and is not covered by warranty. Fun week.- ate a kebab so big it made my jaws hurt, all for $6.90 with free tabouli!
- Arcturus and supporting bands Virgin Black and Astriaal was nuts and I'm definitely heading back out to Club Phoenix for Vader. I really wish some of the non-metal bands I'm into would come to Australia; for example I would absolutely KILL to see Head Automatica live.

Fifth week of uni is about to start, and I'm dead set behind in two of my four subjects. What did I do this weekend? Absolutely nothing. So unexciting
I'm bored and frustrated- I have to study a shitload from next week onwards in order to prepare for my god damn 6 final exams. Mind you I'm only 5 courses with two being single-unit ones, so theoretically the workload is not more than any other 8 unit semester, but the single unit courses tend to have most of their marks allocated to exams. So Harvey Norman Coorparoo (formally Megamart) had a massive videogame sale today with all Nintendo games regardless of platform at under $5. I thought it was too good to be true until me and a couple of friends turned up at 8:50 and saw about 20 people lined up waiting to grab the goodies. Wow, after about a week I finally finished the masterpiece known as The Count of Monte Cristo, about 1000 pages of pure enjoyment. Never had a book had such a profound effect on me; I was utterly amazed at how quickly the time passes when I read it and found it to be strangely accessible for a book that was written over a hundred years ago ( ( Read more... )
