I got my haircut on Tuesday- yay. :) I really like it, and so it makes me happy. This was visit number three to my local barber shop, and by now a complete non-issue. I haven't gotten it cut in a few months cause it was really short and then it was growing out, and it still looked perfectly fine, and I figured there was no reason to cut my hair ( Read more... )

Maybe. I'd love to, but I'm not sure how keen I am about posting pictures of myself on the internet yet. There are still some people in my life (mostly relatives) who I'm not out to, I wouldn't want it getting back to anyone not on my terms.

I understand. There is a lot in my journal I wouldn't want to get back to certain people. Have you thought of using the Friend's lock with friend's filter feature? It's the only way I post pics.

hehe, this reminds of me of growing up. me and my brothers would never get out haircuts in the winter to not only provide us with free headwarmth, but also to save my pop's wallet the cost of haircuts.

everytime i've told myself, 'this is it im growing my hair out' i'd get disgusted and end up shaving it to remind myself i was a boy. WRONG. now im looking forward to growing it out and seeing what i'll look like.

I hear that. Hair is a part of a person's self expression. I didn't cut it for others or to pass, I did it because I felt like it, and I like it myself. I may grow it a bit more after this, try out a slightly shaggier look, plus it'll upset my family less- an added bonus. But we'll see, in summer heat, all bets are off.
Now you don't have to remind yourself that you're a boy, cause you knwo you're not. :) Grow it long if you want, to remind yourself you're a girl!
