How very cool that you were introduced to such a gorgeous song by your mom -- it really is an incredible mother-daughter song in so many ways. Given when I was a little girl, I was exposed to songs by Peggy Lee, Johnny Cash, Englebert Humperdink to name a few --- nothing that leaves a memorable impression, but God love ma for trying !

I might be seeing Tori here soon, I am trying not to think about missing it......I agreed to go with someone, but then the concert sold out ultra quick. Turns out, her family bought 2 tickets for her (because she mentioned we were planning to go together) - but those 2 tickets are going to HER, so there are no guarantees for me getting one of them & it's SOLD OUT. Arg.
I agree about relationships, that their timing can make or break the grand love affair....but the potential is always there. (that rhymed but it wasnt meant to)

The only 'Landslide' song I know is the one by Olivia Newton John! I loved it as a kid! :)

The original was done by Fleetwood Mac -- specifically , Stevie Nicks.

Don't think I've ever heard the Fleetwood Mac version, I only have one Fleetwood Mac CD these days (used to have several cassettes years ago). Anyway, I loved the Olivia Neutron Bomb version as a kid... it's not bad actually! :)
