They did that "missing children of Chicago" spot today on the news. I don't usually watch the news, but it was on, so I miss it usually. Um... for people NOT from Chicago, a lot of kids go missing, sometimes under suspicious circumstances, so instead of having sweeping coverage and stuff (they do that in some of the suburbs, but not the city), ( Read more... )

Thanks.

Where are you? I looked for you to go to the carnival, but I couldn't find you.

If you've been to Grant Park, you might have noticed... There's a rather large house there now. I'm... stuck in it. With the Doctor and a woman named Cory.

We're all right. There's no reason to worry.

Do you know an angel who could deliver it? Or who would take you to see them? Even if they wouldn't believe a letter, they might believe their own eyes.

No. They'd just think that the person who delivered it or was with me was the kidnapper. Or crazy. Or just mean.

I didn't KNOW any angels before I came here, and I didn't come here until after my birthday and

I'm never going to see my parents again. I mean, I can walk by and SEE them, but I can't hug them or talk to them or... or ANYTHING.

You could write them a song?

It's a poor substitution, I know, papagayo. But at least then they would know you're alive, and well enough to keep on with your music. Don't give up. If you keep reaching out to them, maybe... I'm not very good at optimism If you keep trying, maybe some day they'll be able to accept it. What you are.

I think... I think they'd accept it, if they could believe it.

It's the believing that's a problem.

Maybe I will write them something, though. Can't hurt, right?

What your parents need is a good sitting down and the "Angels and demons are real" talk. Too many kids wind up in the same situation you're in and I've had up to here with that kind of crap. No kid ought to be in your situation.

Still wouldn't change the fact they can't see me.

Why would God make people invisible from their families?
