Christmas went well. I actually learned a few recepes from my mom. Unfortunately even though I have the same ingredients I can't make the muffins taste the same as her. Is it possible that it is my owen that is at fault? Or is it just me?

School started before I could properly catch up on all the subjects. Hopefully I will get the extra work done soon and can consentrate fully on the now.

My mother is slowly getting better. The doctors are still not sure what was wrong in the first place but at least their remedies are working. I have spent the holidays with my parents so far but I'm getting back to the dormitories tomorrow evening. I still have some school work to catch up on.

My dad called to tell me that mom isn't well. If things don't change I will have to go and visit next time I have a day of.

It has been interesting and busy two and a half weeks. Thank you all who have helped me to get used to the place and with the studies. Also really sorry for not posting sooner. There is quite a lot I have to do to catch up with the studies but hopefully I'll manage.
