in time, things will get better, if they continue as they are. i spend more time with my incredible roommate, singing the blues along swift streets in our walking mouth hot dog praise band, on our way. adventures are being had, perhaps even new friends. i am beginning to like orlando.

i leave for orlando tomorrow morning. tonight's serendipity of a shoeless bike ride through and across town, joining with megan, adding laura to our collection, and manu chao-ing down to the warm water and wind of the loveliest beach on (my) earth was a much needed venture. macedonians and jacuzzis, proposed sandwiches, and windows down drive past ( Read more... )

if you can find it, you must read the short story "the diamond as big as the ritz" by f. scott fitzgerald. one of the most perfect short stories i've ever read.

you know, i actually like miami for the first time in my life. the peoplemover is enchanting and wonderful, as are the people it moves. i also enjoy fires and humans from different places.
