That is such a spot on scooby type use of language, that I was hooked. And I love the note about Xander's speech being a reason that fewer slayers died. *loves competent Xander*
I don't know the comics, at all, but I'm sort of aware of the new Council's relocation to a Scottish castle. I'm also guessing I won't need that knowledge to enjoy this story, because I have enjoyed it so far. Council gaol is looking sort of likely, right now - a way to get rid of an uncooperative slayer, without committing murder? *was never sure why the Council didn't kill off Buffy or Faith*

The Scottish castle is, as far as I can remember, the only bit of comics canon I've used. I suppose calling it the Slayer Council counts too... otherwise, this is all me! I really like writing Vi - for a minor character, I find she's got a surprisingly strong voice and character. There are some other Vi stories in the Rulesverse as a result, because I wanted to give her a real role to play.
