I'm not as au fait with Buffy as the other members of writerconuk, so I've not met Vi before, but I like her character, and I love your Xander, who's just as witty as I remember him from the series, and I love the idea of a Slayer Support Operative :-)

And the story's mysterious!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Vi's one of the many Potentials introduced in season seven. She had a woolly hat, and a less irritating attitude than most, so she's adopted by me (and others) as the Bearable Potential for post-series purposes. She's quite fun to play with.

I'm really enjoying seeing how the two stories are close in some ways, but completely different in others. I think that lonely garden begged to have people in it, but it doesn't look like a happy place, more wistful. Which is pretty much where we both got to.
