So my dreams of somehow running into DT while he films in Chicago are all in vain. From what I gather, the Rex is Not Your Lawyer pilot was filmed in sunny LA.

I'm back! Exams finished for this term yesterday. Two sections of 1Ls (I really want to say about 100 students, but somewhere around that amount) squeezed into the literally-next-door bar+grill+restaurant to drink to oblivion after the exam was over. OK, I will admit that when I first read this news I was SUPREMELY UPSET. I'll tell you why. I have this weird fear/dislike of British TV stars doing US shows. It's been a busy couple of weeks. Amazingly, the weather is beautiful today and when I was rushing to the train, I had to pause and revel in this strange warmth of early November.

This was the first Diwali I was celebrating back home in three years. We had a nice day and I think my favourite part of this festival is how low-key it is for us. Of course it's pretty loud in India what with the funtastic fireworks but it's still a low-key festival. In a good way.
