Maybe because I don't hang out that much at TennisWorld or because school has just sucked up any time available for me to be checking out the scoreboard while simultaneously tweeting my anger and excitement, I feel like all my tennis love has been taken away and stored somewhere far from my heart.

Not 'cos it's an Austen book though. Actually, out of the Austen books I've read (this is my third one...go me!), I think I like this the most so far. It's much more "grown up" compared to P&P and definitely Emma. But anyway. I've been sort of racing through the book and I just realised...

Usually I read the book before I watch the movie, but there are always exceptions to the rule. As I said in a previous post, I've had the novel Emma for about 7+ years now, and was sadly never able to get through it. I've been catching up on the latest BBC classics endeavour, which PBS is kindly showing on Masterpiece Theatre. I'm talking about "Emma," with Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller. It has been ages since i did a tennis post. Or maybe just a week.

In any case, I haven't had the opportunity to watch a lot of matches since the First Slam of the Year started, but there have been some amazing matches, upsets, etc.

Damn you Roger Federer. I hate you.

But then again, I don't. He just beat Igor Andreev in four sets, of which in the third, Igor had multiple chances to take the set and possibly lead the match in a different direction. But instead, and predictably so, Igor basically handed the match on a silver platter to Fed.

Damn. You. Roger. Federer.

Just finished series 1 of Merlin. Thanks be to the fact school doesn't start for another week, I can finish the 2nd series so that I can read everyone's thoughts on everything.
