It's 01:33, and I'm still in lab. This wouldn't be so bad if I were working on cool project, but I'm not. The day's schedule got all wacked-out because of the stupid pointless very important, hour-long all-TRC "breakfast meeting" at 10:00. I agree. No. This isn't school anymore...you can't just stay at work til 1AM. It's just not that important. Your health and sanity, however, are.

Sunmi, sometimes your life makes me very sad. When I read this this morning, I seriously considered trying to find you during the day to bring you baked goods. But sadly I had no baked goods on hand and have only a vague idea of where you work. Some day I will find you. Some day. (Or else we'll run into each other on the street again, that works too!)

I agree with everyone else. Lab techs are not under an obligation to work 17 hour days. Stand up for yourself.
