Hello there! Think I added you here from the LDR community.

That's wonderful to hear that you married your Canadian guy :) I dated the guy from Quebec for 2 years or so but we broke it off. I swore off LDR after that...had a local relationship. And now all of a sudden I'm involved with someone in Sweden. Oy vey.

What's a Working Holiday? Is that like a temporary work visa for Australia? Is it only available to citizens/residents of commonwealth countries?

Basically its a year long visa for people 30 and younger (well you have to have received the visa before you turn 31 and have to enter Australia within 1 year of the visa's issuance) You are only supposed to work for one employer for 6 months but I'm not sure they really pay attention to that once you're in the country.

Its not just commonwealth countries...even Sweden is on the list ;)

Wow, quite an update. I was thinking of you today, I have an interview in Portland the end of the week and thought, "Hey, is Megan still in Portland?"

How did the interview go? I was without internet access when you commented :( Portland is one of those places that I will always miss living in, but I've found that Melbourne is quite similar in a lot of ways!
