I can completely relate to having a story be complicated to write. Mine was the same way.

Oooh, very nice! I love the quote you chose, and the way you tied it in at the end of the story. The image of the two of them right after the battle talking as the sun sets is perfect -- as the wartime era ends for them.

I love using quotes - they're food for thought and I thought this one worked well with what I was trying to convey in the story. I'm glad I joined the challenge as well, I sometimes need a little push and a short deadline to get my muze moving *giggles*

I really liked this. I especially enjoyed that the first piece of information Harry shares with Ginny after their year apart is his staring at her dot on the map. *melts* Great job!

Beautiful icon, I haven't seen it before.
I always thought JKR gave us little to go on, Harry/Ginny-wise in DH, but the 'staring at her dot' bit is something she gave us and it's very 'Harry'. It's seems such a little insignificant thing but it's really a very meaningful act. So in my imagination it is something important for Harry to share with Ginny to let her know that even though he ended things, he didn't -really- end things.
