News from the Mothership's Primary Care Physician

Rec'd a late night call that they took the Mothership to Hays, KS via ambulance (2 hour trip) last night with an appt to see the Pulmonologist this morning.  The nearest specialist is 2 hours away from our podunk hometown, but that is luckily two hours closer to KC, so now we're 4 hours from her should we get "the call."

Thank you dearheart- it is much appreciated. Acceptance of the situation has already occurred with the four of us. Within the past month, we three kids and she have begun speaking quite frankly about what's happening to her and to the family unit. This IS a blessing as we'll have good open communication during her last year with us, and that's what we'll remember most vividly, which is a very good thing. This holiday season will be very special too and I'm truly grateful it's not many months away.

Thanks love- My Lil Bro is one of my best friends and made of awesome, so we lean on each other a lot. My Big Bro has some biopolar-type "issues" and is generally a mess, although he is salt of the Earth. However, Lil Bro and I have to "manage" him to help him through things like this, which can be more exhausting than "the thing" itself.

I can dig it, though I am so lucky in my siblings, I'm sure of any of them I am the one with 'issues" and that being the only one divorced.
