First day of my pre-seminar is over. It was an all-day event, listening to about 6 presentations about the Fulbright experience, the Hungarian language, Eastern European history, Hungarian politics, and Hungarian culture, among others. Leaving...on a jet plane...don't know when I'll be back again. Actually, I do. I'll return July 22nd. I leave tomorrow morning. Wish me luck. I'll try to update LJ while I'm away when I get a chance.

I don't think my cats should be called Tommy and Joey. After 2 1/2 years, I still get their names mixed up. I just don't think it fits their personalities. I think our white cat should now be called "King" and our fluffy brown cat should be called "Jester." This would fit them much better and I wouldn't forget their names all the time ( Read more... )

My book is almost done!!! I've been working on it nonstop since the end of the Spring semester. I'm going through each essay now and making minor adjustments and changing all of the endnotes of every essay to following more strictly MLA guidelines. I know APA by heart, but most of my contributors chose MLA, so I'm going with MLA. You can mix and ( Read more... )
