I've been itching to get some new books lately, but I've been a little low on funds to be spending loot at Borders.

So I heard about this place, right? It's so nuts.

I don't know if I liked Wolves of the Calla as much as the other books, but it was pretty damn good.

I'm with you. I just don't quite know how to feel about it.

King writing himself into the book got an immediate :rolleyes: from me, but then again - if anybody has earned the right to be self-indulgent, it's him.

Lemme ask you this, though - do you think that the Roland from "The Gunslinger" would have allowed Bennie's dad (the traitor guy with the glasses) to survive? I say no goddamned way, and it shows just hoe much the character has grown and changed.
