Why is family so stressful? Why do family members always take each other for-granted? And for that matter why is it that people show the least amount of respect and kindness to their own family? It's 3:30 in the morning and at 3 am a fireman knocked on my door to tell me to pull my car up to my house because we were flooding and I couldn't move my car out of the driveway because the cars in the road were almost underwater. Oh what an interesting and crappy night.

Today was a great day! I was riding my bicycle to school for a little exercise and as I was riding along I glanced at the ground and there was a 5 dollar bill. It was awesome. So my grandpa died last Wed. around 4pm. I went home that day and came back on Tues. My grandpa was an atheist. So is my grandma. Of course you can never know what someone thought during their last moments, so maybe we will get to heaven some day and he will be there with a sign that says "Surprise I made it after all", but maybe that won't ( Read more... )

Last week I found out that I was going to be an aunt. My brother and his gf were almost 3 months pregnant. Today, she lost the baby. I am not sure how they are handling it, so any prayers would be appreciated. Nothing else exciting is going on. Polka's cast came off Thurs. and she is doing very well w/ out it. She isn't supposed to run or jump for two or three weeks, so I am trying to keep my little psycho dog as calm as possible. She is a whole 7 1/2 pounds now. Just 1 1/2 months ago when I got her she was like 3 lbs. the fatty. hehe ( Read more... )

Ok, so just an update for everyone. Two of my uncles past away this week and so I will not be around for about a week. I am going to Minnesota to their funerals. Please be praying for my family. I am getting a puppy. If I get the one I am looking at now, I can get it in two weeks. Cross your fingers. I miss Daisy terribly still, but I feel that another puppy would help get my mind off of how much I miss Daisy.
