I'm heading to New York tomorrow night for a week with my lady friend (and some of her friends) so I'll be back on wednesday, Oct 13. I will be going to the New York Comic Con and probably as many touristy places as I can visit. Empire state, ground zero, museum of natural history - whatever fits

You're silly. I was in NYC for 4 days without being shanked, and I was alone. :P
