I found out last night that my friend had been attacked and was in critical condition at the hospital. She didn't make it.

Okay. I will get around to talking about the trip to 仙台 (Sendai) and about Gackt, but this week is not the best of time for updates unfortunately. So instead, I'm afraid I'll have to postpone those entries still longer until I have a stretch of free time that doesn't consist of panicking over my Japanese finals and my two upcoming papers.

I skipped my 源氏物語 (Tale of Genji) class to go watch Harry Potter with some friends today. I was really surprised that I didn't receive more censure from people about intentionally skipping a class. My life is so exciting

Apparently, I have not fully appreciated the full extent of my stupidity because I managed to lose my cell phone while attempting to attend the 二年生カップ(2nd year cup). Of course, I missed the cup tournament, and I lost my phone.
