yeah, so the whole p&g thing didn't work out for me so much. next stop: exploring research opportunities. i plan on contacting professors at rutgers, at northwestern, and at a few other schools in order to see if they have something opened for the summer. i guess it makes sense that i should have some lab experience before a company wants to hire ( Read more... )

This morning was my interview with Proctor and Gamble (the company that makes, uh, everything, including: Secret, Old Spice, Pringles, Herbal Essence, Crest, Tide, Scope, Bounty, etc). I hope it went well because I really want that job. Even if I don't get it, though, I was happy to at least have the experience of having an interview with them. ( Read more... )

Northwestern is ranked 21st in the country for football (the only private school to be ranked and first in the Big Ten, I believe). The Chicago White Sox won the World Series. CCS is undefeated in intramural dodgeball (after practically never having one an intramural game). It seems the sports gods are rooting for the underdogs here in chi-town ( Read more... )
