Equal Right To Marry

Today, one out of 15 marriages in the United States is an interracial marriage. I'm married to a wonderful woman, the love of my life. But if this were still 1966, I couldn't legally be married her in some parts of the United States

Yeah but then straight marriage becomes illegal, or haven't you watched fox news?

so yeah i was at work this morning when i heard the news. I was inthe back with about 50 dogs barking and i was literally holding my ear against the radio as the guy read that the 18,000 marriages would be legit but that Prop 8 would also stick. I don't get it... makes me real sad. I am too one in a interracial marriage and don't know what i would do if i had been told i couldn't marry the person i loved, because THEY say so... lame... =/
