Saying goodbye sucks. Like, it really sucks.
Well, actually, it's not so much the word as it is the concept. The word "goodbye" actually sits very nicely on the tongue - but saying it, meaning it, hurts. It takes a tremendous amount of willpower - a tremendous amount of pain - to actually say goodbye to someone.
