Be sure you REALLY are okay with the idea of being actively involved with a war before you enter a branch of the military. Even if you're behind the scenes, you're still supporting whatever conflict we've entered. Also, if you're looking to get money for college, do not count on the Armed Forces. I did a project on it a long time ago, and what I learned is that you really cannot generate a good amount of money for college by joining the military. Read this site for more information:
