Because today all the ghosts find out if they've been selected for the Ghost Council, which is a honour of course, or if they've been asked to see the Ghost Council, which is not so much of an honour and more of a punishment. Or if they just weren't picked out at all.

I'm hoping for the latter.

Personally, I would be more afraid of the Overlord with a duck. It means he is creative and will not settle for cats just because it's the fad. Also, ducks can't be drowned.

I do like this idea. I could be a sort of ironic Overlord of Arithmancy tests. A waterproof one too.

We could just sit around and do nothing, as I'm very indecisive as well. I have no idea what I want to do. And I really don't care what it is, as long as I'm with you two.
