I didn't want to pick their better known ones, but I have an acoustic of "King of New Orleans" that I love, so. It was pretty easy to find ten songs I love. :)

So, I guess my question is, how do you lay out information for the reader to pick up, about the characters and setting, without breaking POV, or going out of your way to address it? How do I not make the reader feel lost, but rather intrigued, even if they are completely unfamiliar with everything except the main characters?

Maybe you can go through other people's fics to discover this and see how other authors do it. These are very broad questions. It's all a matter of a style of writing.
