Not sure yet if I'll see this in theatres - though I probably should, just to know what everyone's talking about. *g*

that was where I was, curious what the hype was...but should I read the books or avoid them?

I've heard that reading the book(s) before watching the movie is recommended. Then again, I also heard the first one is awesome and the other two are crap. *rofl*

No I have not :) haven't even noticed here..may be it was released, but as the books are more expensive now,I rarely buy something I don't know,I prefer to buy things I know something about or actions :)
But the movie-trailer runs in our Tv daily :)

I really enjoyed the books, which is why I'm nervous, the version your brain comes up with when you're reading is hard to match, you know?

Hit send too soon.

Anyway, yes, I recommend the books, they're a good read. :)

I haven't read the books yet either and I only had a vague idea what this was about. To me it kinda felt like it was dragging a bit at times. I think the book would probably be a whole like better.

I did feel like it was forced at times, so I'm right there with you. I just worry that I'll get hooked, like I have with HP and LotR...I can't get distracted right now, you know ;)

Katniss' wodd-ness was on purpose. She doesn' allow herself to feel much, and only cares about her sister and their survival day-to-day, unlike Peeta, who is a bit less cynical.
