This looks like fun.

Ask me a question about one of my stories, or about my writing in general. It can be absolutely anything in any fic, and I will answer you as honestly as I possibly can. Don’t hold back. Ask about my plans for future parts of a current series if you want to, or progress on something in-progress that you've gotten an early peek at; just keep in mind ( Read more... )

Yes, I will.

The most recent chapter was posted about a week ago, if you missed it. I got a little sidetracked with the story, but I'm back on task with it. :o)

i pick dangerous liaisons for the specific: i thought where and how this ended was perfect. i sometimes wonder about them though in this verse and what became of them. do you ever think about that or did you have an idea about that when you finished the piece? if so, where do you image cuddy? house? them?

and, did you imagine alternate versions of this story? if yes, elaborate :]

in general: you don't write 'explicit' sex - not that i can recall. i think it works well for your fics. i'm just wondering why you don't.

Thanks so much. Dangerous Liaisons was one of my favorite fics to write. I do wonder where House and Cuddy would be right now. I imagine they would still be in Baltimore, Cuddy working at the same hospital with House. I bet they'd be even closer than before. Maybe they'd have a dog or a cat or something. Haha.

As for alternative versions, there weren't any major changes. I've thought about having Cuddy get drunk when they went away to the hotel. And including her therapy scenes. And even considered an explicit sex scene, but all of those things were cut/didn't happen. Heh. I also started a sequel where Neil broke out from prison, but I never went very far with it.

Ah, yes, the sex. I'm not one to write explicit sex scenes. I do lead ins to it, but when it comes to writing it, I always feel strange. Mostly because when I try to write it, I think of the actors playing the characters and I feel awkward writing about the actors having sex even if it is the characters. Did that make sense?

I have no problem reading smut though. When I ( ... )

Oh, cool. I love you.

What inspired you to do a fic with an eating disorder in it?

Also - what happened to Walk Me Through This One? That was long before I started reading your fics, and you didn't get too far into it, but I was just curious as to why it stopped.

And - another nudge about Rockabye Baby! I wouldn't normally do that, as I mean it's your work and you have the right to do whatever you want with it - that one is just my all-time favorite of yours, ha.

Haha. Thanks.

Um, well, I have some insight into eating disorders so I thought it would be something I'd like to write about. Plus, I thought others might be able to relate to it and hopefully have hope about getting better (where the fic is heading).

With Walk Me Through This One, I was really excited about the idea of it. Of House having to deal with losing his best and virtually only friend. It stopped because I got distracted with other fic/work and sort of lost interest in it. I should really just take the fic offline.

I love Rockabye Baby, too. And I plan on updating it. I'm hoping I'll get back into it soon because I really don't want it to become one of those unfinished fics.

Thank you for the questions! ^.^

Do you have the ending in your mind before you finish writing them? What do you think about AU fic?

Usually no, I don't have an ending in mind. I mean, I may know that I want it to end on a happy note or a sad one. Or that I want to include something later, but I usually don't come up with an ending until I'm halfway or almost all the way through the fic.

AU Fic. I'm a fan. I mean, I don't usually read fanfiction, but I'm a supporter of anyone doing whatever they like. I may not read, say slash fic or something, but if someone wants to write, go for it! Same with AU. I will read it if I'm really interested in it, but like I said, I don't usually read fic.

As for writing AU, I never used to do it. I mean, in my WAY early fic days when I was writing Charmed fanfic, I went AU, but when I got into House, I tried to keep things strictly canon and would only happen in canon. I mean, for the most part ( ... )

I found those House/Cuddy/Wilson "note-writing" stories (if they were stories) hilarious! :)

Thanks, hun! It was so fun writing those. I hope that down the line, I'll get inspired to write more. I'm glad you enjoyed so much. :oD
