Oh how I've missed doing these. I just hope the Pokemon section of the Pit hasn't gotten too unruly with me gone. ;D
So I was going to spork
this fic today, and I even wrote half of the report before I realized that I was basically praising the story the entire time. OOPS. (Take a look at it if you like; it's nothing special, but I did enjoy

So, wait a moment. If April knew that this professor was un poco flojo en la cabeza, what made her decide, "Oh, gee, he'd be the PERFECT guy to help me heal Latias!"
The growlithe in a lure ball is just... Um... Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it possible (albeit highly ineffective) to use lure balls on pokémon besides the sort you fish for? Even so, it's weird that the author went through the trouble of telling us what kind of ball it was when it isn't even the most appropriate sort. It just makes the read stop and go "BWUH?" thus interrupting the flow of the story.
And now I'm turning this comment over to my own Sue, because there are a couple of things she wants to say.
What? I'm not a Sue!
Of course you aren't, dear. We only have the same first name.
Yeah, whatever. Listen, most sane pokémon do not refer to their trainers - especially ones they've just met - as "Mistress." That's just creepy. Nor do they appreciate learning ( ... )

Anyway, I should be able to keep up now. It's summer and I'm not working at camp like I was last year, yaaaay! :D
Yeah, I guess it is possible to catch other Pokemon with Lure Balls. It's still really weird, though. And it did give me the image of someone catching an Arcanine on a fishing pole. XD
I was going to address the whole "mistress" deal, but I guess I forgot. In any case, doesn't that COMPLETELY go against everything that the games/shows/manga/etc. have taught us about what the relationship between trainer and Pokemon should be? It really is creepy to see them calling her that.

Now can someone explain to me how a Pokémon can be half shiny?

So true. I think I once wrote a (really pointless self-indulgent when I was nine) story about a girl with a Bulbasaur, though. But of course she obtained the obligatory Charmander and Squirtle, too. This was during the first generation Pokemon series.
lol @ a Charizard named Fire. Just call it Charizard. I never gave mine ghey nicknames, even in the game.

(I'm not a Sue!)
-has one, as did the first Sue I ever read. Speaking of which, I've been trying to find her again, and having very little luck. Her name was Amanda, and she had a Bulbasaur named Rasin (although she didn't name him until well into the fic). She also had a ponyta that she took from her Evil Rival, who was related to Jessie. It wasn't, as far as I know, posted on the pit of voles. Can anyone help me?
