State of the baby and stuff

Wow, John is content to be sitting with me at the computer now!
I have him straddling my left leg and I'm holding him on with my hand over his chest. He's happy flipping through edges of paper on my desk. And he's hit the keys a few times. ;) Uh oh, he's got a pen...luckily, cap is on.

John is 12 weeks old today (picture is old)!
His newest skill is trying to hold a small toy and stick it in his mouth. He also will grab my or DH's finger and try to put it it (our fingers) in his mouth. He's getting pretty good in his accuracy to his mouth. Now if only his toys were small enough to fit! ;)

John Henry Thomas Reed, who entered the world drug-free on Wednesday Aug. 22 at 3:25 a.m. after a 12-hour labor (1.5 hours pushing). His birth weight was 8 lbs. 3 oz., 22 inches long.
