holidays seem like weekends, but this year they are midweek
as well as mondays after the weekends,
i felt it was monday on boxing day and day after new year,
the nights are long the days are short
the weeks are short
time knows no bounds

myself i've got another round coming up with the orthodox christmas and new year
i had one parent of each
so i fancy myself a mixed celebrant, or maybe just an excuse to extend the party ))

My friend had no idea what the event would be- or whether we'd experience it as beneficial or detrimental....

It's already a year of trouble. Just ask the poor folks of New Orleans. They're busy partying and enjoying themselves when a crazy man plows into them and kills--the body count is now up to--15 people.
My Hubby and I used to live an hour's drive away from New Orleans and we KNEW people who lived there. I am tormented wondering if any of the people we used to know were hurt by this mad man, but everyone scattered after H. Katrina and it's been right at 25 years since we moved away. I may never find out.
And now I wonder what else is lined up to happen....because something else is.

The attack in New Orleans was horrible- and there was a similar attack on a Christmas Fair in Germany just a few weeks ago.

And of course there are wars ongoing in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Something is certainly coming, but it need not be bad.....

There's a Sun/Mars opposition on 1/13, which could signify confrontation, I suppose. But it's a fairly common aspect. Offhand, I don't see anything else-but, of course, I didn't look very long & it's been decades since I was serious about astrology.

You thought it was Monday because Wednesday was a holiday. 😀

I'm glad we're out of the holiday season and the calendar can settle down....
