We've been eating out most days because of the state of the kitchen- and we're getting tired of it. Yesterday we bought a take away at a Chinese place in Norman's Bay and parked up by the roadside at Cooden Beach. We joked afterwards that for £90 we could have had a really slap up meal at the posh hotel just down the road from where we were sitting in the car spilling gravy on ourselves....

BTW---WAS THERE A SIGN SAYING "NO PARKING" WHERE YOU AND YOUR LADY WERE EATING IN THE CAR??? Or whatever the British equivalent of what we'd put out there would be?
I mean a NO PARKING ZONE should be clearly labelled, shouldn't it?
If it wasn't, if I were you, I'd take pictures and take it to appeals...

There were notices, but we didn't see them.

Parking used to be allowed along that stretch of road above Cooden Beach and we assumed it still was.....
