//024// three thousand miles from home

Sometimes it feels like I've been here for so long I can hardly imagine what it would be like to go back home. Wouldn't it seem just a little bit more boring? But, of course, everybody says you'll lose your memories when you go home. I think that's what happened the one time I did, but nobody really knows for sure if that's what happens every ( Read more... )

I doubt that people will forget you, T.

I don't know, I wouldn't say I'm as memorable as some people.

Who cares about other people? Really?

I know you don't.

After a certain point, I think it seems like one will possibly never go home again.

I almost don't think I'd mind. Except for the part where people are always going home and the curses that hurt people.

You really wouldn't mind living here permanently?

Well, maybe not permanently. There are things at home I need to do. But if I was going to be really selfish and all my friends could be here, I wouldn't mind.

I did when I left twice. When I came back the last time, it felt like everything just rushed back into my head.

Notes are good. Pictures are even better, though, it'll be hard as heck to forget a jolly green giant with blonde hair and piercings.

But isn't it sad to think that we could go back and not have all the experience we had here?

Pictures are a good idea, we should take more.

Kind off. We did have some good times here.

Do any of us own a camera that's not a camera phone?

I don't want to forget all the people I've met.

...I don't think so.

That's a good idea. Leaving people behind without telling them something seems so cold, like when Molly left. And Xavin left the first time. I woke up expecting them there and they weren't.

For a minute, I almost thought they didn't care but I knew that was wrong.

Because even though you know they didn't really have a choice, it still feels like they left without saying anything, right?

Right. Even when I ended up doing it myself, I couldn't stop wondering if everybody else though I just left without caring that I was leaving. I think if you left them something ahead of time, just in case, at least then they'll know.

Or at least have something to remember you by.

I am certain that people would remember you, Dorrek, no matter what you left behind.

It's probably safer to take that as a compliment, so thanks, Xavin.

That was my intention.

I thought so, I was just teasing a bit. How are you?
