[ Chell seems surprised to see him, opening the door fully. She's looking pretty tired, but better than she did a few days ago. Just behind her is a dresser turned on its side, and at her feet is an old towel caked with dried blood.

Despite her strange surroundings, she seems happy to see him, holding up a finger to ask him to wait, while she disappears to retrieve her notebook. ]

[ The surroundings worry him, as well as her tired face but he says nothing about it- the fact that she also looks pleased to see him, at least, relieves him for some reason. So in response to her finger he nods, to show that he understands, and waits politely for her at the door. ]

[ Chell returns a minute or two later, notebook in hand. She flips through it, finding a page where a greeting has already been scrawled. ]
